Job Description: Identify and implement a business strategy to grow the retail division in Eastern States; (1) Growth to be focused around branch offices with recruitment of top producing loan officers from mid to large level banks; (2) Identify and implement a business strategy to grow the retail division through various initiatives including; call center, branch imaging and branding, internet marketing. Develop strategic business relationships with real estate offices to capture the purchase market heading into 2011. Grow the loan volume for the retail platform through the development of new branch relationships. Implement and manage branch scorecard analysis and snapshot of branch metrics to drive and grow profitability. Implement training for retail division in the following areas: (1) Federal and State regulatory compliance: (2) Loan submissions to maintain a pull through of 85% or greater; (3) Employee relations; recruiting, employee management and development, state and federal regulations; (4) Mortgage industry trends in relation to marketing and sales. Establish and monitor minimum production levels for both branch offices and loan originators. Reporting of volume forecasts and actual production analysis to Senior Executive team. Monthly review of retail pipeline. Monitor retail branch compliance through established regular branch audits. Work closely with Branch managers on all loan escalations and scenarios.
Minimum 10 years working in Mortgage Retail. Experienced leadership with a proven ability to excel and drive outcomes in a fast growing company. Demonstrated ability to manage associates in multiple locations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including problem solving. Demonstrated ability to lead a large retail division providing leadership and representing the interests of the organization. Significant and meaningful experience with retail division marketing/advertising. Ability to manage to the changes in Federal and State regulatory statues. Knowledge of the mortgage industry including trends and current developments such as gained through local and/or regional industry contacts and professional group participation. Effectively lead, inspire, motivate and manage staff. Organizational effectiveness: Ability to work closely and cross-functionally to achieve strategic objectives and tactical results. Goal and results oriented. Knowledge of retail division administrative and processing requirements and an ability to draft effective policies and procedures. An understanding of the importance of customer, client and constituent communication processes. Ability to collaborate with others in a team setting. Knowledge of loan quality control policies, procedures and administrative practices. Strong customer service skills. Ability to use deductive reasoning.
